|Texture:| sets global values for patterns, colors, and line and border thickness (it does not show values for selected objects unless entered by double clicking on an object with the |pointer| tool). Upon |OK|, all values are applied to selected objects.

|Picker|: allows choice of any RGB color value for the |white| bits. - only for Color Quickdraw.

|Color:| allows selection of 8 or 256 colors. If you have 8-colors, the color checkbox can be used to show color. If in 256 colors, the palette colors can also be changed - see |Color Palette…| in the |Project| menu.
|Show Width:| when on, the width of borders (see below) affects the |preview| (see above). Turn this checkbox off if you wish to see the border pattern on thin borders (a nominally thick border shows in the |preview|).

|Next and Previous Group:| click the Up Arrow to go to the previous group, or the Down Arrow to go to the next group.
|Pattern Group:| displays one group (of 4 groups) of patterns.
Click to select a pattern, or drag to preview many. The first group has a 'No' pattern for full transparency.
|Fill:| When set, the pattern selection and color selection apply to the filled area of objects. In the case of bitmaps, and some pictures, the pattern is ignored, but the colors are applied.
|Line:| When set, the pattern selection and color selection apply to lines and borders.

|Preview| shows a sample of line and fill values. If the color box is set, then the color is also shown. Click in the fill area to set |Fill| mode (see above) or click in the border to set the |Line| mode (see above).
|White| bits of patterns can be displayed as a color. Choose a color to replace the white bits. Fill color for |white| also applies to |bitmaps| and some pictures.
|Black| bits of patterns can be displayed as a color. Choose a color to replace the black bits. Fill color for |black| also applies to |bitmaps| and some pictures.
|Color Choice for White Bits:| click or drag to select a replacement color for white bits. On black and white displays, you can choose from 8 colors; on color monitors you can choose from a palette of 256 colors, or use the |Picker| for full RGB values.

|Points:| specify the width in points. (1 inch equals 72 points). For example, "36" (for 1/2 inch). or 9 points for "1/8" inch. You can also enter tenths of a point; e.g. "4.5" or "6.1".
|Fraction:| specify the width as a fraction of 1 inch (1 inch equals 72 points). For example, "1/2" (for 36 points) or "1/8" for 9 points.
|Width Graphic Choices:| click or drag across choices to select a new line width. Hold the Option key to scale by current magnification level.
|Width Preview:| shows the approximate line width at normal view magnification.
|Enter Line Width:| enter width as the number of points (ranging from ".1" to "72.0"). You can also use fractions of an inch; e.g. "1/2".
|Clear:| makes white bits display as transparent. |Clear| should not be used for patterns printed on Postscript printers. |Bitmap| objects with a |clear| fill are always okay.
